I've stayed here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The decor is aging a bit now, however, it is very clean and the rooms cleaned to a high standard daily. Stayed here on 7or 8 occasions. Staff always friendly and helpful. It doesn't feel like a 'corporate hotel chain' I.e. it doesn't feel sterile like some well known chains where you are just part of a production line. Haven't eaten here for a few years so can't comment on the restaurant.

Have stopped here the last 3 years after Christmas Party Night. Nice hotel, rooms very good ( prefer rooms in the old part as very cozy ) , breakfast is very good with plenty of choice, food at party nights was very good on all three occasions. Look forward to another visit this year.
