Howard Arms is worth a visit, food is good and consistent, staff are friendly and obliging. If you are in the Cotswolds over the weekend make sure you book because it is very busy especially in the summer. We live close by and eat there fairly often and have never been disappointed. more

Arranged the booking to coincide with my boyfriend's birthday & we were lucky enough to secure a room at a bargain price- £50.00, including breakfast! To qualify we had to spend a minimum of £50.00 between us in the restaurant. The room they allocated to us was the "Study" which normally has a tariff of £145.00 per night so we... more

i had booked our stay at the howard arms six weeks previously for my huband and I, and his parents, for a small celebration. the booking process was very good, with Jules getting back to me promptly. A week before our trip, i had emailed our booking to the pub, for a table for four, which also was promptly received.... more

We have just spent a couple of nights at the Howard Arms with friends and really enjoyed this cosy pub with very good rooms and excellent food, We had rooms at the back in the new extension ---each being very well appointed with super kingsize beds and quality bed linen. The duvets are down and feather and at 13'5 tog... more

Stayed for one night in the Summer Room, in the newer section at the back of the pub. The room was very luxurious with stylish modern decor, a beautiful bath & separate shower and a large, soft bed. Lovely location within easy reach of Stratford & Warwick and only a few miles to the north section of the Cotswolds. The... more

we thoroughly enjoyed our meal yesterday at the Howard Arms, the food was delicious, the staff were polite, efficient and quick without rushing us. Nothing was too much trouble. We used our Tropicana vouches, 2 courses for £10 - excellent value for money, would go back tomorrow and thoroughly recommend more

We enjoyed a 6 night stay. Ok, first the minor complaints: we arrived during a bonafide heat wave. Our room (the study) is tucked up under the eaves. It was truly HOT. The thermometer in the hallway outside our room read a steady 31/31 Celsius. The bed was covered with a heavy duvet and no flat sheets. We did get... more

On the surface this is a beautifully renovated & extended inn. The room was very well designed, the attention to detail was excellent. The bed was comfy, plenty of piping hot water, fresh towels, fresh milk etc etc. So where did it go wrong, for me it was the sleepless night due to an extactor fan left on in the... more

We stayed with friends for 3 nights & had a jolly good time, made even better by having lovely Spring weather. The staff were very friendly & helpful & the rooms in the annexe, which were only completed in September, were very comfortable & tasteful - kingsize beds, bathroom with large shower & bath. The breakfast were excellent & the... more

I was whisked away by my husband for a weekend break following him spotting this place in an article in the Sunday Times. As this is basically a pub, there is no 'reception' that you would expect to check in at and we wandered through to the bar and had to check in there! The staff were friendly and we... more
