I come here with my friends last month. I feel like i am a family member of Lake St Clair Ferry, since their service is more than what i expected. I feel even more safe when the room is very clean. I also really like the scenery here, since I took a trip from Cynthia Bay to Narcissus. Its very... More

Event when I have been there in early of January, it was very cold but the people make me feel really warm. They are so friendly and helpful.(the heater in my cabin worked well also. Lol) And I surprise when I read the reviews in tripadvisor. It's totally difference. Lucky I did not read these bad review before I came.... More

I had the chance to stay here whilst heading to Strahan and breaking my journey. I was amazed at how beautiful this place is. We took a cabin opposite the lake and mingled with the wildlife. Accommodtion is very comfortable, staff super helpful and restaurant was very enjoyable. I loved this place and recommend this place to weary travellersand anybody... More

My advice to all people is to check out a place and make your own.mind up . I read reviews after I stay and make up my own mind as some people will complain about something small. I stayed at this resort and have had a brilliant time. The staff are helpful, studios are cozy. I stayed in 20 and... More

The single biggest issue I had with the resort is how expensive everything is... I would expect to pay a little extra given the remote location but the mark up is extraordinary. The resort location on the shore of the Lake is breath taking and you have access to the wilderness and the wildlife on your doorstep. If your willing... More

Disappointing end to a superb hike. It was immediately apparent that staff were overworked and bound by the owners 'rules' to be able to provide appropariate customer service. Meals overpriced for a restaurant without full table service. Stayed in the dormitory which was OK but toilet block was very dirty. Wish I had of looked at other accommodation and meal... More

There are few places in the world where you can stay this close to nature. The lake is beautiful and the water is crystal clear, I suggest you take a kayak to enjoy the scenery - including watching the platypus's swimming around and the trout fishing is great - if you have the right gear and information. Also the walks... More

After reading some negative reviews here, we booked campervan site with a hotel/motel on the main road at Dervent Bridge (4km away) for our 3 nights stay in late Nov 2012. But after reaching there we found it was a depressing location/facilities, so we decided to have a look at this place. A lady at Service desk was extraordinary helpful... More

Normally we don't write reviews, but this was so bad we thought we had to share. Crap, small, unlevel campsite. Due to 'environmental reasons', whilst at the same time they are building heaps of new cabins. Staff don't seem to know what was going on and seemed very unhelpful in general. They forgot to tell us you need $1 coins... More

We stayed at the lodge and our room was set up beautifully. The construction site that surrounded us was a dampener but looks like some well needed improvements are being made. We met the new resort manager who has great plans for this place and we think he will do wonders to make it more appealing to all types of... More
