“Tired accommodation relying on spectacular location”

While the location and the setting were picture perfect the standard of the room was not what we were expecting. Very out dated decor and unhelpful staff did not reflect the high price of the accommodation. Little things also didn't help improve the mood of the stay. Wanted to see Coles Bay / Freycinet while on tour around Tassie. Freycinet Lodge rated well. Arrived to find several Freycinet Lodge brochure-advertised activities either closed for the season (boat trip) or not running due to low numbers (adventure rides). “Comfortable well suited for couples”

We stayed only for 1 night but it felt longer due to its laid back atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was 1st rate with a day lounge and balcony. Restaurant was 1st rate for dinner and bistro served an excellent buffet breakfast. Great location allowing you to access all local attractions easily.

“Good view, average accommodation”

Room was ok. Nothing special and certainly not worth the tariff. The breakfast was very average but one highlight was the cray dinner and the cocktails. The views of the mountains were beautiful and went some way to overcoming gloomy cabins. The walks which were close by were great
