Very pleasant surprise as many BW's are so inconsistent. Stayed two days. Had a King suite on 1st floor. Nicely appointed and equipped room. We are sorry to hear that the bath towels were not up to the standards that we are known for. We appreciate hearing what areas we need to improve on. We realize our carpet was beginning to get marked up due to the increased restaurant traffic. “Lovely property”

What an unexpected pleasure, NOT your typical Best Western!. Located on a very busy road, it is quiet, with a well appointed interior and lovely guset rooms. Don't be misled by the small lobby! The resturant is delightful and the managers and staff are lovely and welcoming. The properitors Mother visits the property most evenings and is an absolute delight

We have stayed here twice now. I am just not impressed. The decor is wonderful and the rooms are mostly clean. The breakfast is not very fresh. We often travel to Mentor to visit family and stay at the Lawnfield, the room is always clean and staff very friendly and accomodating....the price includes a wonderful breakfast and the new addition of the pub and dining room are awesome!

The lobby of the hotel is lovely and fits in with the historic area. the room was clean, comfortable and updated. The reason it didn't get a 5 star was the breakfast was a let down.
