Maumee Bay is lovely and was a great place for a birding event. The setting is wonderful and the trail and Nature Center add to the choices. It is nicely suited for a conference and also provided family amenities to suit various ages and interests. The onsite restaurant and swimming pool were welcome and inviting.

We bought a package at a charity auction and were delighted with both the location & the accommodations. There are boardwalks built over the nearby swamp where one can walk for a couple of miles hearing nothing but birds chirping. Very tranquil.

We enjoyed our stay at Maumee Bay lodge and conference center. We visited the Toledo Zoo while there that has a wonderful polar bear display. We especially enjoyed the wetlands walkway at the lodge. Stayed here in January. The rooms were very clean and the beds quite comfortable. The pool was enjoyable as well as the 2 hot tubs. Be aware that the pool area can become very warm and overcrowded. The scenery was beautiful and relaxing. Friendly and courteous staff. Comes highly recommended. Retuning in February for another stay.

We go to Maumee Bay at least once a winter. Love the pool area (even though it does tend to be overcrowded on busy weekends i.e. Martin Luther King or President's day), love the game room, kiddie play area and Volleyball and Raquetball rooms. We don't visit the restaurant every time, but this last time left something to be desired.... More
