For the past two years, I have attended a Father's Day gathering at the Aspen Inn. Heidi bends over backwards to accommodate all her guests. You have your choice of rooms, you can use the Inn grills, and join in the bonfire in the evening. The rooms are clean and spacious. Some reviewers have said the walls are paper thin,... More

We spent one night in the A-frame and were so happy we did. The accommodations were clean, reasonably priced, and comfortable. Heidi, the owner, was an added bonus! She was so friendly and welcoming - we immediately felt at home.

We stayed in our way to crater lake, we must say it was an amazing place very comfortable, we got to se the BBQ, table games ans delicious chocolate and coffee every morning. We would completely recommend it for future travelers. By the way the host gets 100 points for her kindness! Makes you feel in family

We booked the Wagon house for 2 nights. It's conveniently located. Heidi is very helpful and gave us good tips for planning our trip. They gave us a cute basket for dogs filled with towels, poop bags and so e treats. My dogs loved the small stream to swim in and we all enjoyed the pool table. It felt a... More

We stopped here because someone told us about it. We needed a place to stay because the Crater Lake Lodge was not open until the next evening. The owner is a delight. The rooms were clean and neat. The price was a deal. There is a stream out back. It is 30 minutes from Crater Lake. The setting was great.... More

We fell in love with the A frame cabin when we stepped in it! The room is cozy and clean. Special thank you for Heidi! She is so hospitable and gave us great suggestions on our crater lake short visit. This one-night stay in Aspen Inn made the last day of our Oregon trip so memorable! We will definitely choose... We selected the Aspen Inn for our one night stay because of its proximity to Crater Lake and the uniqueness of the motel itself. We had the pleasure of staying in one of the four A Frame cabins; Heidi called it the “honeymoon” suite, cute! The room was very neat and clean and the bed was comfy too. Heidi was... More

To be honest, I was hesitant when my husband showed me photos of an A-frame cabin he had booked for us and I was even a bit hesitant when we pulled in. (I am not a camper.) But that all went away as soon as we met Heidi. I felt like we were staying in someone's personal cabin in their... More

We stayed at Aspen for one night in early Oct 2012. It was the perfect base for a quick trip to Crater Lake. The motel itself is rather basic but very clean, spacious and great value for money. My only slight criticism would be that the WiFi speed is pretty slow, but in the end it’s not the kind of... More

I was planning on tent camping for two nights in Crater Lake NP until I saw the forecast of 21 degrees for the low both nights. After reading reviews on Tripadvisor,I called and talked to Heidi.I asked for a single both nights, and was told she had a single the first night, but only a double the second night for $10 more.I asked...
