Everett Street Guesthouse is simply a gorgeous place to stay in Portland. We spent three nights in Sophie's room last June, but this time we chose to stay in the cottage as we were staying for longer and liked the idea of a separate unit with a kitchenette and a private patio. Once again, everything was perfect. Terry thinks of... More

By far number one B&B in portland. Cosy, nice atmosphere, excellent price/quality ratio, personal breakfast (pretty nice for europeans) are just some of the qualities of the everett street Guesthouse.

You can't ask for a better hostess than Terry. First let's just talk about the food. She makes her own homemade granola. She toasts her own walnuts. She uses this funky french press type thing to make superb individual coffees in the morning. I am a vegan and she went above board fixing me special breakfasts. Mexican tofu scramble with... More

My wife and I spent a full week at Terry's place and were very happy with the experience. We did a quite a bit of pre-trip research to find an affordable place near all the downtown attractions, restaurants, etc. The Everett Street location met all our criteria. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood in easy walking distance of shops... More

We stayed four nights in the Studio Cottage on the first part of our road trip from Portland to San Francisco. The house is in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to some fine restaurants (see my other Portland reviews), a Whole Foods, and other spots worthy of a walk. The Studio Cottage is totally separate from the main... More

We knew the guesthouse would be a great experience based on the other reviews, but we really didn't expect the service and hospitality we were so pleased to enjoy. We stayed for a few days to visit friends and get some time away from work. Terry was so attentive and respectful of everything, from dietary restrictions, to recommended sites and... More

We are B & B operators on vacation from Alberta, Canada and we stopped at the Everett Street Guesthouse for a few days to explore Portland. We must say that Terry is really on her game. Wow. The more than reasonable rent she charges for the service she provides is amazing. Her concern for her guests welfare is really reflected... More

A week in the cottage was just what I needed after a busy year. Everything I could have ever needed was provided, and despite being there while the innkeeper herself was on vacation, I could not have felt more taken care of. I greatly appreciated all of the extra touches - lists of local restaurant recommendations, a well-stocked refrigerator and... More

Thank you so much for your kind words. I was a bit worried to be off site for a few months, but knew Judy would take good care of my guests, and obviously she did. I hope you'll return again. Best regards, Terry More

This cottage is very modern / cute. It has everything you need for a nice stay away from home. The innkeeper was very helpful with what to check out in the area. She has put a lot of though and effort into this cottage. She really cares about her property and about her city. It is nice to see someone... More
