The staff is very accommodating and recommended a discount (beyond the already reasonable rates) we didn't know we could have. The rooms are nothing lavish, but clean, quiet, and the location is great. They have a nice continental breakfast, cookies at tea time, and a wine tasting at cocktail hour. Very civilized. More

I was really impressed with the level of service and friendliness of the staff. Location is great - walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel is undergoing some updates; though clean and comfortable, will benefit from all the improvements since some finishes seem a little worn. More

Hotel was well located for walking to many of the great, hip spots, bars and near Powell Books. For the money, this was the best choice in that area. Right downtown. Close to Powell's, and a short walk to the art museum. Help-yourself good breakfast. Espresso/tea/hot choc available at any time in the lobby.
