Reception lady was perturbed because we interrupted her personal phone call when we arrived to check in. Later contact with different lady had the same attitude. Also, the mattress was very very hard, making a good night's sleep impossible.
The room was very clean and everything else was great, but I won't return.

Stayed at the Days Inn Black Bear for a business meeting. Rooms were clean and close to the Meeting Building. Nightly room rental was very reasonable. Breakfast was great, good selection of sausage, boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, or toast and fruit. Meeting space was great for medium size group. And the location was convient to Salem Shopping and restaurants.

For $59 a night, this hotel is tough to beat. It was clean. It had a mini frig, coffee maker, and microwave. The breakfast included had hot menu items in a large breakfast room. They even had a tennis court that we took advantage of.
Close to restaurants and the freeway, we were pleased with our choice and would stay...

It was awful. First room the toilet did not work. The next room was a nice size but old. The floors all squeaked above us and beside us. You could hear all of the doors closing. It was one of the noisest buildings I have been in.
Staff was nice but since we had thought we were arriving at a...

The room was clean and well appointed. Check-in was fast and friendly. Continental breakfast was just OK, but did the job. I would stay again.

I was hesitant to choose this motel because it is older and it was inexpensive, but it got good reviews on Tripadvisor and other sites, and it wasn't listed on bedbugs.com, so I decided to give it a try. My mom and I stayed for 5 days and I must say I was very surprised and not disappointed. The room...

Everything in this hotel was fine with the exception of noise. It faces a highway, therefore noise from traffic all night. In addition, there was a wedding in a small conference center adjacent to the breakfast room. We could hear a very loud music until 10:30 pm. When we drive a long distance I like to go to bed around...

My wife and I stayed at this facility for five nights in June 2011. We both thought it was good value for the money. The room was large; the pillows were just right. The room came with iron and ironing board, coffee maker, microwave, small refrigerator, hair dryer, tv and Internet wifi. There was no extra charge for any of...

Nice spacious breakfast room. The alternate each morning between scrambled eggs or boiled eggs. We also had sausages, cereal, waffles, toast/bagels, juice, normal stuff. The staff said it would be 200 yards down from our room in another building. It was barely 100, but still weird to have to go outside and walk that far for breakfast. Didn't bother us...
