“Not what it used to be”

We used to love to come here but it's definitely gone downhill in the past few years. The rooms need to be spruced up and the staff needs to polish up their attitudes as well. Even with a Groupon it feels like staying here is a ripoff. Not sure what's happened in the past few years but it isn't good.... More

Our only regret was that we were just able to stay the one night! All staff that we encountered were beyond helpful. The food is terrific and well priced. We purchased a special price online package. Our room was huge with a king bed and fireplace -comfortable, clean, quiet. The pool and spa were relaxing, even on a dreary cold day. We received a great special for April. Our room was a bit dark but I guess that is from all the trees. The pool was a perfect temperature as was the spa. “Beautiful location with a great staff”

We love staying here because there is something for everyone in our family to do from our teenage son that snowboards, the spa for my wife and daughter and golf for me. It is a relaxing place that we enjoy getting away to whenever we are at Mt. Hood. Also, love the 12:00 check out.

“Great place for a retreat.”

Could be called "Resort in the Forest". Beautiful setting. Much quieter than staying at the ski areas, and more spacious than most rooms there. Ski Bowl is only a 15 - 20 minute drive. The Altitude restaurant is pricey, but the food is excellent. I would like to go back for a longer stay.
