True story...roaches, yes...roaches...rooms are musty, POOR to no maid service, think old shore motel. No money put back into property in years, from maintenance to landscaping to HVAC and carpeting...the Lodges (all 3 of them) are a mess...conference center very nice but that focal point needs to expand to the entire 'resort' - management should be ashamed to call it... My husband and I recently married on April 27th and chose Lake Raystown as our location. The facilities were absolutely gorgeous, we fell in love with the convention center as soon as we walked in; from the large windows that look out to the lake to the terrace (where our ceremony took place) that overlooked the lake, we knew this... My husband and I rented a villa for a weekend. The villa itself was very nice and the location was great but it was surprising that towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer were not included at the price we paid. We do a lot of cabin camping and have paid a lot less for similar; at this price we expected more.

We stayed at one of the lakefront cabins. The location of the cabins are very close to the water. We took a canoe and was able to launch right from the cabin and we could store it safely on the cabin lawn. The cabins are modern, clean with all amenities..tv, air conditioning etc. My only complaint is the cabins are... More

We spent a Friday - Sunday get-a-way weekend at the Lodge. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice view of Lake Raystown. If I had any issues is was that we were not given enough information about the Lake area when we checked in. Since we didn't have a boat (this is a big boating area) we were... More

Spent a long weekend at Raystown Lodge on a yoga vacation trip. From central NJ it took us approximately 4 hours - but the last 40 minutes is litterally "over the hills (and mountains) and through the woods". Glad we had a Garmin as the map was very difficult to follow with all the twist and turns - but it... More

After reading some of the reviews I have to say that I was a bit worried about the accommodations. Let me first start off by saying that our room was clean. There were no bugs or spiders as others mentioned. The staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did not replenish our towels, however, which i was upset about. We stayed... More

I have been staying at this resort for over 5 years and would like to say it is one of the best maintained vacation retreats I have visited. The staff is helpful and friendly. Lake Raystown has so much to offer the whole family. The water park is great, boating, camping, fishing or a cruise on the Proud Mary, or... More

My friend and I were looking for something to do with our kids on a hot, sunny day. We had already hit most of the local pools in our area this summer, so we decided to head to Lake Raystown Resort Water Park. Our children's ages range from 2 to 17, so I wasn't quite sure how the day would... More
