Staying at this hotel was a really good experience, I would recommend Premier Inn, Huddersfield North to anyone. The staff were the best that I have encountered in a hotel. The British style breakfast offered a wide choice. Out of town location is pleasant and convenient but requires own car or taxi to access.

The ever-warm welcome at this Premier Inn was just what was needed after a longish motorway journey, and the peaceful room I was allocated gave a leafy view over the River Calder. What more could I need? A half of Broadside ale and a good meal at the handy Old Mill Inn completed my restful and restorative stay.

The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was large. Needed to ask for more coffee and milk, but that wasn't a problem and it was provided immediately even though it was after midnight. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean, bright and large so no accommodation complaints. The problem is the high vehicle crime rate which seems to be rampant at present in the Huddersfield area. My car was parked in the carpark which appears to have CCTV. Note the word "APPEARS". We spent one night in a family room. It was at the back, so there was no road noise. The room was clean and in good order. The breakfast was great. The staff were lovely. Really helpful - and had useful local knowledge too!
