We had read the good reviews on this site and decided to book for 2 nights. We should have read the terrible ones (As we just have) as they are more realistic. Elaine dealt with our bookings and phone calls very well but it was Tim who greeted us on arrival. Awkward to say the least but his "grumpiness" had... More

Just got back from a 3 night stay at the olive tree.I was working in the local area so i decided to take my wife and dog along too and have a long weekend. The Olive Tree made the perfect base for us to see the south of Cornwall and Devon. The B&B was everything we expected and perhaps more.... More

My friend and have just spent a lovely weekend with Tim and Elaine. It was everything previous reviewers said it would be. A lovely warm welcome and cup of tea when we arrived, delicious breakfast every morning with new laid eggs, including warm home made scones on Sunday morning. Even the cockerel didn't manage to wake us up. The dogs... More

We have just got back from a three night stay at the Olive Tree. We needed somewhere we could take our six month old border collie pup. We found The olive tree via a dog friendly B&B website. We were not disappointed at all. Wonderful hosts and everything we could have asked for in a B&B. The breakfasts are great... More

It's not the most salubrious and you've got to like dogs, but I've seldom felt as relaxed on a business trip! I simply wasn't made to feel as if I was in someone else's home and paying for the priviledge. Tim and Elaine were lovely hosts and it was just like home from home. Breakfast was tasty, with home-produced eggs... More

Excellent holiday - again. This is the third time we have been to the Olive Tree. The reason we keep going back? ........... Tim and Elaine are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much for them. We feel that we are actually just visiting friends. They are down-to-earth and very warm-hearted. Also, we can take our two Jack Russells who are... More
