Location was good, breakfast first class. On arrival you are made very welcome by the owner Judith, rooms were excellent, 15 min to the Eden project. As we stayed for only 4days in late May and the weather not very good we look forward to returning soon and to hopefully better weather.

We arrived at Poltarrow to be welcomed to cream teas and a lovely breakfast pack in Red Deer Cottage. The cottage was great perfect for our young family, it was all on the ground floor with a huge private terraced area which caught the sun all day, perfect for our children to ride the trikes up and down. It is... More

We loved Palrarrow farm. We stayed in Roebuck cottage, four adults and two children. We arrived at three in the afternoon and was welcomed with afternoon tea, fresh bread, bacon and sausages plus the basics to keep us going. The master bedroom was lovely with an en-suite bathroom with the most fantastic shower. The bed is so comfortable I didn't... More

Just had a lovely Christmas at Poltarrow in Red Deer Cottage and other than the weather, it was fantastic. A beautifully appointed cottage with a lovely comfy bed and huge bathroom, coupled with lots of Christmas touches - a lovely decorated tree, homemade mince pies & a hamper of other goodies, made it a week to remember. We will hopefully... More

I spent a week with my family at Poltarrow. We had loads of space in the cottage, the hosts were extremely helpful (and also discreet). The pool was left open for an extra week for our children. Amazing views as well. And when we arrived, there were scones waiting for us! I travel a lot, all over the world with... More

We have just stayed for a few days at Poltarrow Bed & Breakfast. The rooms were well furnished and comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide range of cereals and fresh fruit together with the statutaory "full cornish". Hosts were very welcoming and helpful when planning days out and evening dining. The swimming pool and games room are a bonus.... More

Poltarrow has a great reputation and rightly so. We've just stayed in Sika, which had two double en-suite bedrooms and a great kitchen/lounge area. The decor etc was of a very high standard and the cottage itself very clean. It had a great terrace outside with BBQ and wonderful views over the fields - in my opinion Sika has the... More
