First time to the Yamba area and found that the Sands Resort was a clean and well equiped unit. The main pool has the cleanest pool water I have encounted. No street noise and no excessive noise from other units. Overall found the resort to be good value for money compared to the Gold or Sunshine Coast.

Overall was a a comfortable stay. Rooms are clean. Lady at reception is friendly. Rooms are close to each other and can be noisy. Beach is across the road. The Sands is situated next to a beautiful beach that is overlooked by the apartments only separated by a little road. Facilities, room and service were fantastic, however location was a bit away from town for us. We stayed in Qld Sept school holidays and were disappointed beach was not patrolled. Also be prepared to carry luggage up stairs - we stayed on top floor, but view was worth effort, Very nice room and facilities, although gym was closed.

This is a residential complex and set up as same. The pool and facilities are adequate even nice but you feel like you are in somebody elses home and by all acounts you are, restrictions will be placed upon you as per noise etc, as the permanent residents need to get a good nights sleep. Took an apartment overlooking the beach. Great room. 2 bed 2 bath. Very spacious & clean. Can't say enough good things about this place.
