We've gone The Black Bass many times for brunch and dinner over the years but today's brunch was the best yet! My had the bagel & lox to start, huevos rancheros and berry crisp. I had the liver and salmon pate, shrimp & grits and an outstanding banana/coconut bread pudding. Add glasses of champagne and coffee plus outstanding service and... More

We recently spent a weekend at the Black Bass Hotel. From check in to check out and everything in between it was perfect! We had two rooms as our son and daughter in law joined us. We had the Major Fry and Tinsman rooms. Both had balconies overlooking the Delaware River. Both rooms were of ample size with nice large... More

What an awesome time! My wife and I needed to get away for a bit. So we came here for the 2 year anniversary of our engagement! What an incredible time! We stayed in the Baxter suite which is pet friendly. So of course we brought our dog. From the minute we registered we knew we were going to have... More

I really didn't know what to expect on my first visit to this historic Inn & Hotel, but was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. From staff, to food, to the accommodations, everything was first class and I will most certainly visit again. You never know what to expect when visiting an old historic Inn such as this, but the... First let me start off by saying we have been coming here for years. We both love historic hotels especially those that have been brought into the new with still keeping with much of the charm of the old history. The location is amazing. We love the staff, shout out to Billy (one of the managers) Who does everything. Grant... More

We recently celebrated a special birth day in our family and were extremely happy with the Black Bass as a place to celebrate, unwind, and explore the natural beauty of the area. We all enjoyed a wonderful and plentiful dinner in their private dining room. This was important as we were traveling with five children who can be rowdy! The... More

Found the Black Bass at Lumberville and what a lovely surprise. we had suite 2 overlooking the Delaware and loved the whole vibe. Brilliant food, great bar and beautiful room. From dinner to breakfast and dinner, wow. Run by Grant form Carnoustie, he still part owns the London Links Hotel and what a great guy. Cant wait togo back again.

We planned a special brunch event that we do yearly with our good friends. The renovations that were done to the hotel were beautiful. The food was a terrible disappointment. The huevo rancheros was so hot it was inedible. The rest of the selections were also sub par. We have had better diner food at half the cost. Expected so... More
