“No hot water..”

Was in need of repair... run down.. no hot water in the shower... Noisy, people running the halls after 11:00pm.. carpets dirty and worn bad.. worst Super 8 I ever stayed in.. I wanted some place close to Scranton, but this was the worst, didn't go to the cont breakfast, cant say anything about it.. I would not recommend,

This "motel" is the worst we have stayed at in 40+ years of travel. We pulled off I-81 because of heavy traffic and saw the Super 8 sign. While not expecting the Hilton, we had stayed at Super 8s before when our children were young with not bad results. The Super 8 in Pittston. VA. was dirty, meaning- carpets, walls,... More

This was the worst Super 8 or, for that matter, any other motel I've ever stayed in. Dirty, noisy and run down on what appeared to be a dangerous neighborhood. I would recommend you keep driving as my wife and I should have done.

It is sad to see the Super 8 hotels deteriorating.Our room was fairly clean but the whole hotel is run down. We didn't get much sleep because there were some very noisy people some where around us talking until three in the AM shortly before we needed to get up to be at the airport.
