Was here as a spectator for a sporting event. The hotel is a short way west of town but on the main road into town (tho off the road, so not at all noisy) and not inconvenient as long as you have a car (and not many people come here with no car....) Walking distance to a huge mall and... More

I stay at this hotel every time I come to State College on business - which is 6-8 times per year. When I first stayed here in 2008, I remember it being brand new and sparkling clean. Two years later, when I returned again, and every time since then, I am still happy to see that it looks BRAND NEW.... More

Stayed at the Fairfield on a trip to take my niece and her friend on a campus tour of PSU. I had enough Marriott points to stay for free which is why I selected it, as I normally stay closer to campus. I've never stayed at a Fairfield before and I can't say enough good things about it. The staff... More

We stayed at this hotel after spending a blistering hot day at a PSU game. We're pretty particular about hotel cleanliness and this hotel did not disappoint. The room was bigger than expected as was the bathroom. The breakfast was nice too. The attendant was constantly cleaning and wiping up after messy patrons. We will definitly stay there again. More

I stayed at this hotel for about a week on business and enjoyed the hotel. The only down side is the location, but the hotel itself was a nice surprise. The hotel is pretty new and the room sizes are bigger than average. Everything was pretty clean and was fairly priced. Would recommend this hotel to family or friends. More

We enjoyed our stay here immensely! We are picky about cleanliness in hotels and this hotel gets an A+ from us! It was perfectly clean. It was a great price for such a nice hotel too. We were making a road trip across the USA and this city was along the way so we chose this hotel due to it's... More

We stayed here for the opening weekend of Penn State football. Very surprised to find a room as there never are any available on game weekends. Stayed in other places at PSU 10 years ago that were charging $200 per night. Price was $199 per night for the Fairfield Inn this year, which is very reasonable for Penn State on... More

This was the first time that we had stayed in a fairfield inn, and the room was a bit less plush than others in the Marriott chain. It was clean and comfortable nonetheless and the kids enjoyed the pool, which was a good size, and they had to themselves. The brewery just across the car park served excellent IPA, and... More
