This hotel is obviously hit and miss. We got the miss. Cigarette smelling hotel room next to stairs despite sign of no smoking in the lobby. Room hasn't been updated for years. Paid upfront but was given the last room available. Disappointed and drove the 2 1/2 hours home after a nice day at the beach.

A plain and simple Inn located ON the beach. We love falling asleep to the sound of the waves. We stay there every Labor Day Weekend since it is close to the Rhythm and Roots Festival. It is a short drive to Watch Hill a lovely harbor town with interesting shops and small restaurants.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the PVI. We got the last available room, which was very basic,but clean, facing the parking lot. Beds were comfortable and water pressure was good.
