We read all of the reviews and booked this hotel with the hopes that most of the reviews would be correct! They seemed to all be positive and refreshing. Unfortunately, IT all went downhill with one call to confirm the reservations the day before we were scheduled to arrive. They could not find my reservations and kind of insinuated that... more

The Pinckney is located near all the attractions in Charleston. We had a suite, but there are lots of stairs!! Stairs to get to the room and then stairs to get to the bedroom. The regular rooms may be easier to get to. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. more

Our most recent stay at the Andrew Pinckney was about our 5th or 6th stay at this hotel. We have visited Charleston at least once a year for the last 20 years or so and wish we had discoverred this gem sooner. During our most recent stay, we had a problem with our room and the desk clerk quickly and... more

The staff was very helpful with recommendations and providing requested services. The Townhouse room was beautiful and very clean. The inn is close to the historic market. Once you park at the inn, there is no need to drive. All the great restaurants are within walking distance, along with most attractions. This was a quiet, very enjoyable visit for me... more

My fiance and I came down for a long weekend at the end of January and stayed in the St Phillips room; beautiful exposed brick wall, french doors that open to a Romeo and Juliet balcony and the street below, wet bar, mini fridge, all the "good" things about staying away from home. We were excited...until nighttime. Pinckney Street is... more

We stayed at the Andrew Pinckney Inn for 3 nights in late January. The Inn itself occupies two buildings across the street from each other. There is parking behind the main building and they have use of the Bank of America Parking garage beside the second building. We were fortunate to have picked up a deal on Orbitz which included... more

I usually don't spend a lot of time in the actual hotel room but this trip I spent more time in the room than just to sleep. My stay at the Andrew Pinckney Inn was one of the best stays I have experienced in a long time. I celebrated my 50th birthday in Charleston and most of it was in... more

My friends and I were in town for the 10th Annual Charleston Comedy Festival. There were nine of us total, and my wife and I having stayed here before recommended to everyone the Andrew Pinckney Inn. As with our previous stays, we were very pleased with our accommodations. The location can't be beat with proximity to King St and all... more
