My first impression of my room at the Andrew Pinckney Inn was that of quiet, comfortable elegance from the fantastic, soothing soaking tub with bath salts provided, to warm robes to cuddle into afterwards, and an excellent, care-free wi-fi system. Their appliances were state of the art, and the furnishings comfortable yet elegant. So satisfying was the bed, I barely... More

This hotel was perfect!! The location was really easy to find, and there was a parking garage very close. We didn't know that the hotel would provide parking until we checked in, and our car was already parked. The price for parking turned out to be the same so it wasn't a problem. The Concierge at the front desk, Kristen,... More

I returned home last week after having spent 10 days at the Pinckney visiting from England. All I can say is that I can't wait to go back. All the staff, reception and housekeeping, are wonderful. Upon arrival I had a minor issue with my room, I mentioned this to reception and it was fixed right away, by that I... More

First the good, because every place has something good about it and so does this boutique hotel: The location is wonderful -- just a few blocks from truly great restaurants, great shopping and within walking distance of the beautiful homes along Meeting Street. The rooms are also quite nice. The breakfast bar on the roof-top patio is wonderful and provides... More

We stayed at the Andrew Pinckney for a weekend getaway and had a wonderful experience. It is a very cute boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Charleston. It is within walking distance to many restaurants and shops, including the Market. The breakfast was nice with a view of Charleston. The staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions, directions and... More

My husband and I stayed at the Andrew Pinckney Inn at the suggestion of our daughter. She was correct in saying that the historic inn has everything needed for a delightful stay in Charleston. We were steps away from the market, Cru Cafe, and the restaurants on Meeting and Queen Streets, and we had a quiet, lovely room. The staff... More

We had a wonderful experience at API for a recent long weekend. The location is fantastic - one block from the city market, and centrally located so it's an easy walk to either the Vendue area, the southern battery, or even to the Aquarium (a little less than a mile). All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel... More

This hotel is managed by a caring company called Charlestowne Management. I believe all of their properties are managed with care. I loved the quiet location. I could hear the hoofs of the horse pulling the carriage. It is easy in and out and between East Bay and Meeting St. Very convienent to everything without being in the middle of... More

This hotel lived up to all my expectations: not extra-fancy, but there was nothing lacking. The location is excellent, walking distance to anything you could want, but on a quiet side street. The staff was friendly and happy to help. The rooms were attractive - not luxurious, but with more than enough space. I would be happy to stay there... More
