The Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes is celebrated for its excellent location and scenic beach proximity, which many travelers find convenient. While experiences with room quality vary, with some guests commending the cleanliness and views but others citing maintenance and noise issues, the overall cleanliness of the resort is frequently lauded. The amenities, including multiple dining options and beach access, are popular among guests, as is the tropical ambiance of the resort. Exceptional service, often personified by staff members like Mo, Richie, and Jamal, is a consistent highlight, although opinions on the resort's value for money are divided.

Great locations for events. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Meeting areas were well laid out. Food at the restaurants at the hotel was great. Staff was super fun and friendly. Loved the location. Cant wait to come back next year.

This experience at a Marriott resort hotel was disappointing at best -- it felt like "off season"--understaffed and limited options. Hotel indoor facilities are in need of a makeover in general, though our room was good and the beach/pool area is beautiful. Staffing seemed to be putting all efforts towards meeting/conventions with other hotel guests secondary. Staff was warm and responsive. However, there did not appear to have the same grooming standards at front desk as other Marriotts we've stayed out. Food was mediocre with limited options for meals. No towels at the pool and had to go to the spa to get. Would not stay there again and another guest (local attending a big meeting there), in overhearing us, agreed and recommended another hotel.

The service was amazing everyone was super welcoming and kind! Mo was excellent every morning and very friendly! I would definitely recommend the buffet in the morning there is a large variety of foods for everyone. In the restaurant there is a beautiful view overlooking the pool and ocean!

Check in was fast with friendly staff. Rooms were clean and updated. Appreciated daily housekeeping without having to request it. The pool and beach property were lovely. We were there over spring break and there was no staffing at the pool for drinks or food. We had to search for pool towels, something to drink, etc. Food options were limited. Overall a pleasant stay.

We stayed at the Marriott Grande Dunes for a dance convention and while the rooms/hallways are a bit dated, the service was top notch. Jarrett at the valet and Jessica in the Blue restaurant were two of the most hospitable, helpful individuals we’ve ever encountered during our travels, which have been extensive throughout the country. Both made our stay so enjoyable! Five star rating is bc of the two of them!

I've stayed at this hotel, for many years, while attending an FBI Conference. I really have no complaints. It is a really nice property, clean, and comfortable. Extra praise goes to the front desk personnel at both check-in and check-out. They are some of the nicest and most competent customer service folks that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in Myrtle Beach. The conference facilities are excellent. If I had a complaint, it would be the price. A bit expensive... especially for off-season. I paid a little over $190/ night (regular room), tax included, for 2 adults, non-ocean view. There were no junk fees (i.e. convenience fee, parking fee, destination fee) shown on my bill. So, bring plenty of money for the bill and enjoy your vacation.

Wonderful experience, classically beautiful hotel, impeccable service, beautiful views of the beach and ocean. Highly recommended. A bit tricky following GPS to actually get to the hotel, but that’s the only drawback we could think of.

While spending the winter at the villas next to this location, I've been pleased to visit the Ocean Blu Restaurant and Lounge several times. The staff here is exceptional, and the food is quite good. Dom and Justin are fabulous...providing amazing, attentive service and great conversation. Regardless of whether there's a light crowd or a packed house, they adeptly handle it all by making lovely cocktails in a relaxing environment.

This is a beautiful resort and will definitely be back. Deborah Knowlton and Michael Clay saved me at the last minute preparing for a meeting. Very grateful for the kind service and willingness to help! They went above and beyond to make my day a success tomorrow.
