Exchanged into a 2 BR, deluxe suite (angled to see south beach from the hotel) The rooms were very nice, traveled in Feb 2012.... surprised to see it so busy over the super bowl weekend. Didn't use the water facilities, designed mostly for kids and was busy with kids. Just my choice to let the kids scream away. Would be... More

Several slides in their indoor eater area make this a ggod place to go in less than beach weather. As with all of Myrtle Beach, there'always a ggod deal to be found. Location is north of the Strand, so it is quieter. Breakfast buffet is an excellent value. More

We stayed from Feb. 5-7 and what attracted us to stay at this resort was the indoor waterpark. However, the chlorine levels were so high in the pools and hot tubs that it burned mine and my husband's eyes to the point that it looked like we were crying. Also, our daughter suffered from coughing fits along with burning eyes... More

We checked in on a friday in february..which is usually very quiet in myrtle (trust me I know im a local). When arriving to our room we found the following: someone elses soap and used wash cloth in the shower, none of the counters wiped down, the floor had chips and crumbs on the floor and the dishes provided had... My husband and I stayed at Dunes Village for just over a week in early January. The holiday crowds were gone, but the resort didn't feel emptied out. I expect that's because of the waterpark facilities. We were in a one-bedroom oceanfront unit on the 7th floor. Our view was spectacular. The balcony was small--if the weather had allowed for... The staff was friendly, the pools and waterpark were nice but they were crowded and hard to find a chair if you got to pool any later than 8am. The rooms were average, ours had a strange maple syrup smell, which i guess there are worse things it could smell like, but it was odd (at one point housekeeping actually... More

Thank you for taking the time to respond regarding your recent stay at Dunes Village. It is always great to get positive reviews from our returning guests. My husband, my 2 sons and myself drove from New Hampshire to Myrtle Beach to stay at Dunes Village Resort June 2011. Not knowing what to expect from just "photos" on the internet, we were pleasantly surprised. We all were immediately impressed that it was away from the "main drag" at Myrtle. We could walk out the back doors and... More

Once again, our Dunes visit was wonderful! Again, we stayed in the 3 bedroom oceanfront deluxe condo. Room 1051 is perfect! We have stayed in this room previously, and each experience has been the same. Extremely clean room, fully stocked kitchen and the view is AMAZING! The check in/out parking situation appears to have improved since our last visit, which... More

This is a wonderful place for kids. The indoor water park is lots of fun. We traveled there in the winter so it was a nice escape. The water was warm about 80degrees and the hot tub was very hot! It would also be a nice place to go during the summer when you want to get out of the... More
