This review will be a bit long, but I want to cover the good and bad. Our original condo ended up being damaged in a storm so we had to find something kind of last minute (had concert tickets and couldn't reschedule our stay for a later date). I browsed through lots of listings and finally ended up choosing one that seemed to fit my wants/needs (king-size bed, oceanfront, indoor pool, and kitchen/kitchenette). I booked it with Big Fish Rentals but when they sent me the booking information, I noticed it did not have a king-size bed or an indoor pool. I was told they could relocate me to another unit that fit my needs, but there were only two options available, and my options were to choose one, or lose my money due to their no-refund policy. I had seen the first property they offered during my search, and it had awful reviews about mold and such, so I declined. The only other option was 1107 Meridian Plaza, so I accepted. A lot of the reviews complained about not having a front desk and having to do self-check-in, but those things weren’t really an issue for me- I actually like self-check-in. Even the way the parking is set up, though kind of silly having to go up to the room and retrieve the parking pass and then take it back when you leave, wasn't that big of a deal (of course, I would imagine in the busy season it would be much more annoying). We got up to the unit and noticed it was a little warm in there and the fridge wasn’t very cold (it got colder but never really as cold as it should’ve been). It was clean enough except for a pretty dirty air filter and a big clump of hair stuck to the shower wall. The bathroom and shower were nice, and the towels were very plush and smelled great. My favorite part about the place was the balcony and view. AMAZING VIEW, though the chairs on the balcony need updated. The bed sinks in the middle terribly. We tried turning the mattress 90 degrees and that didn't help, as I'm pretty sure the box springs are busted. We ended up putting pillows under the mattress topper to help stop us rolling into the middle. It felt like we were filling inside a taco. The couch is much the same way. The a/c is limited to 68 degrees, but I can promise it never got anywhere close to 68 degrees in there (maybe because of the dirty air filter). The couch and bar stools are uncomfortable, and the kitchen has 3 forks. I made a pan of cookies and when I went to put them in the oven, it was cold. It looked to be pretty old and upon reading reviews of the place, I learned it had been broken for at least a year. The place has so much potential to be GREAT, but it just seems like the owner hasn't put any money into it in a very long time. All of the furniture and appliances really need to be replaced. Everyone we saw that worked at the property was nice. The security guards walked around checking things out constantly and we saw people doing landscaping and people cleaning. We saw pest control going into the rooms (we didn't see a single bug in our unit aside from the moth that hitched a ride in). Even though it was no smoking property, they had a little smoking area that wasn't a big deal to go to. The indoor pool was heated but it was only 3 ft deep, 3.5 right in the middle. The indoor hot tub burned our eyes, and the roof was leaking onto us from the rain while sitting in it, but the outdoor hot tub was nice and relaxing. The outdoor pool needed to be cleaned. All these things aside, we were okay about our stay overall- until checkout time. We had packed up everything on a luggage cart to make sure we were out by 10am. Went to get on the elevators and no power. They were doing scheduled electrical work. During checkout time. Tried to call them and it went almost directly to voicemail. Immediately (9:48am) I get a text saying, “Sorry on another call, how can I help?” I tell them we are trying to check out and there’s no power to the elevator. No response. There was a staff member walking around with the pest control guy and he heard me ranting about how dumb it is to do this kind of stuff during checkout, and he offered to make a call and see how long it would be. He tells us it might be hours and I’m not about to make trip after trip, up and down 11 flights of stairs, carrying all of my belongings. So, I went back to the room to sit on the balcony. At 10:15am, I get another text- “will call front desk.” Roughly about 8 minutes later, I’m on the balcony and one of the housekeepers opens the door, asking me if I am checking out. I told her that I had been trying and there had been no power to the elevators, and she looked confused. Maybe she had just arrived at work for the day, I don’t know, but all of my stuff was out of the room. She told me she had just used the elevator, so I was excited to be able to finally leave. As I’m walking to the elevator, my phone rings; Big Fish Rentals. I’m assuming they are calling me to tell me the power is restored. I answer it only to be told my checkout time is 10am and the housekeeper is trying to clean my rental. I informed her I had been trying to leave since 9:45am! They wouldn’t call me when I had a pretty legitimate problem, but they sure did call me when they thought I was staying past checkout time… On the elevator, we met the sweetest little 70-year-old lady, who had made several trips up and down the stairs trying to get her stuff out. Even though she was only on the second floor, I still felt sorry for her having to do that. We got everything loaded into the car and realized we had to take the parking pass back up to the unit. When trying to do so, we couldn’t access the building because, I assume, the power was off again. That sweet little lady offered to take our parking pass to the main (off-site) office because she was already going there.

Roach Coach! Do not stay here. Individually owned condos. Some have nice decor, some do not, all have roaches. Booked through Airbnb for $$$$. Not worth the money at all! Don’t ruin your vacation, find another hotel. This is an accurate an honest review.

Honestly, it was out of the Adams family furniture. The paint was patched together. Room 1501 shows a pretty picture when you look at it to book. The furniture was old and all scratched up. I refused to stay in such. The owner had not changed a thing since thy 60s it seems. I left the very same night. I was able to get another room on the ocean that was updated and great.

My review is for Condo Unit 904. Friends stayed in 2 other units which were really nice. Unit 904 is not fit for rental. It was filthy as you can see by the pictures I am attaching. Black mold above my bed and in the bathroom. No working television (no cable and mot smart TVs) and no wifi. Office said they would send someone out but it was never fixed. Zero response from the agency when I sent picture of how gross it was. I’m not normally a complainer, but this place apparently has turned me into a Karen….

We have had a terrible experience. We would never come here again. We have not received the services promised us. No TV or internet, and after numerous calls to the front desk where we were told it had been reported to maintenance and they would be coming in on hour or two , we finally asked for the manager. She didn't return our call. After a second request, the manager came on the line and told us that the TV and internet could not be repaired during the duration of our stay (4 nights). I would never stay here again and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Aged and outdated unit. Do not book unit 1401. No staff onsite. Will never stay here again and I am writing reviews everywhere I can to make sure others don’t make the same mistake I did. Like I said, no onsite staff, zero, zilch, nada. Good luck getting assistance with anything.

I am writing this review to help others. I can’t get my money back, but if you read this review I can help you avoid spending your money here. We will never return and I will do all I can to persuade my fellow vacationers to spend their money elsewhere. Don’t stay here! There are no employees onsite. No front desk, no housekeeping, no maintenance that we saw. There is a front desk number you can call but I had to Google it to contact them. No hours after 5pm. Our first night, no tv service, no WiFi password. Called the “front desk” on Tuesday morning. After some back and forth, was told “can’t help you with the WiFi password as that is unique to each condo owner”. Was told after a second call that maintenance would show up to fix the TV service. That was Tuesday. We checked out on Friday, maintenance never showed up. There are some nice units in this building from owners who truly care about their guests. The owner of unit 1401 is clearly not one of them. Unit is aged and outdated. Looks like a college dorm. Interesting that the online photos don’t show the coax cable lying all over the floor. My wife and I discussed how with just $500 we could make this unit more guest friendly. As my wife said, obviously a cheap skate owner only interested in money and absolutely no interest in their guests. No guides in the room for using TV’s or accessing the internet. The building has one elevator for 15 floors. We checked in on Labor Day and it was never a problem for us. I can’t imagine the disaster waiting for the elevator during peak periods. And here is some more. Handle to sliding glass door in balcony broken. Outdated appliances. GE Spacemaker radio in the kitchen. How old is that thing? Were there cell phones back when that radio was made? As we were packing up on Friday around 9am, my wife offered to help me bring our suitcases to the car. As she was closing the door I asked her to “hold it”. Said I wanted to check the door code. It no longer worked. Checkout is 10am yet they changed the door code at 9am. Had I not checked we would have been locked out. I called the “front desk” on the day of checkout to see if I needed to do anything. The doors are number coded which is nice so you don’t need a key. Was put on “black hole” hold. After waiting a while I just hung up. We pulled out at 10am. One final note. There is no privacy on the balconies. No privacy walls. Completely open to the unit next door. We knew that coming in and we were ok with it. You may not be so be aware of that.

And I will tell you why. The two televisions got no signal because we were told they were installing new cables. The noise at 8 am came from the workers downstairs . The latch to the outside patio was broken and we never got onto the porch. A towel rack fell off the wall. The beds were only fair. But we felt we got heartfelt apologies from Hosteeva each time. Will not go back.

Room 808 is the most disgusting room you'll ever see. Filthy rooms, rusted out appliances. The bathroom had YEARS of filth in it. Vents had layers and layers of filth and rust. Peeling paint, 2 uncovered electrical outlets. I walked in , saw how gross it was , called front desk (which is down the road in another building) asked for an upgrade. The front desk was absolutely useless. I walked out. I wouldn't let my dog sleep there.

Booked on line called and co firmed price and balance owed at check in Then email with $25 higher price owes. Had to call and get changed back. And asked about $39 waiver fee vs security deposit.. told it had to be refunded at front desk at check in.Told to go to hotel (A) Dropbox to get codes, arrived 2am after ling drive. Nothing in box,, went to hotel (B) got codes to get into hotel (C). Met with dirty floors, and streamers still stuck to walls. Rusted out microwave, stained dishes. At front desk they refused to refund $39 and hold $100 security deposit. Didn't care room was dirty. Told Mgr would call.me about on Mon. No one did. I called front desk and got Mgr. She said NO torefynding $39 because we wee no longer there. Only stayed fri-sat. And no money back for dirty room. But she would give us a discount to stay again. (Why would we) and she wouldn't charge us $50 for park pass that was to be returned. Yet no one said anything nor does the pass. Once they get your money they don't care. The only ones who did were the ppl taking care of the building, pools and grounds. And the security guard who made sure our pass was in our car. Rm 904 cleaning, reservation and cleaning are all -5. Other rooms may be ok,, but only check in when you can see and look at charges.
