It has been several years since I have been to the Seaview Inn. And I miss it! When I first met my husband, he took me to Pawley's Island for the first time (1985). You talk about love -LUV! With him and the island. We married, moved to Atlanta and I was a busy Realtor with two small children and... More

Shabby Chic, if you are into it, you will love it. VERY RELAXING. Unplug from the rat race. There is electricity though. Focus is on the ocean and the food which is provided, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wonderful portions with great desserts. EXCELLENT. No airconditioning in the inn but the breezes and the sound of the surf 24/7 are worth... More

From the moment we checked in till we left we felt right at home. The food was great, staff and people were very friendly. Being able to sleep and hear the ocean was awesome. I will be next year with the rest of the family and staying in a cottage. More

I love the Sea View Inn! I've been going for maybe 6 years now. Same week every year. I look forward to it for months. I spend more time with my Sea View friends in a week than what I spend with friends at home all year. No TV-fabulous! No electronics-Great! Good home cooked food-wonderful! No pretentions, no air conditioning,... More

Stayed just after Labor Day with family and my young child. We stayed in one of the cottages primarily for the a/c option. First thing that we weren't aware of prior to booking was this Inn is NOT AT ALL handicapped accessible. There were ALOT of steps to get in and out of this Inn. Also the cottage we stayed... More

For lack of better words, I will just list the pros and cons. Pros: Quiet, Nothing Commercial, Secluded, you don't have to cook. Cons: Moldy shared Shower walls/floors/curtain, No Air Conditioning, Scheduled Meal Times, Greasy Food, The communal shower is down the hall, No locks on the doors, there is a sense of community between the guests that have been... Sea View Inn was my first experience with a "rustic inn" and I must say I was delightfully surprised. The ability to really relax makes this place a "must stay" if that is what you really want to do. Have stayed in many B & B's, and they are all unique. The Sea View Inn instantly has become my favorite... More

you will have a wonderful time at Sea View Inn. I loved this place. It met all my needs for a quiet, peaceful, non-congested get away right on the water. I am walking-impaired and my room was upstairs, but it did not matter to me or anyone else. The rooms are simple, very clean and breezy. It is like having... More

O.k. first of all : the place itself is very nice. It has the typical shabby chic atmosphere and the location which is right at the beach is simply unbeatable. The rooms are very simple, you have to share a shower, which we didn't mind. There is no Air condition, so it can get a little hot during the night,... More

I grew up vacationing at Pawleys Island every summer, and every summer has been the same: white sand, a mild ocean temperature, and no commercialism - just houses, the ocean, and the marsh. My family has been staying at Sea View Inn for 18 years because it embodies the spirit of Pawleys Island. With three meals a day in the... More
