“Great Hotel But A Big Mistake”

Well the hotel was very clean and had a beautiful ocean front location; however, when we first got there we went to check in to our room and it was not ocean front, our view was of their chimneys and roof stacks which I my head almost exploded!!! Dear abm81491, Although I am disappointed by your comments, I thank you for your feedback. We do have Oceanfront rooms and also Cityview rooms, when making your reservation please specify which room type you would like to reserve. Since your stay 9 months ago, we have made quite a few changes, including making all of our guest rooms non smoking.... More

Hotel is very clean and the staff is nice. They do have more staff now that is it closer to Memorial Day to justify the resort fees such as wait staff by the pool. I have to rate it sub-average because they charged us a 6$/night resort fee. This is not a resort, it's a hotel. Sure, it sits on the beach, but the pool and beach access were closed during our stay. “Wonderful place to stay and see the ocean”

This is a wonderful hotel right on the ocean with a good restaurant. The view is fantastic and we had an upgrade so we had an oceanfront view. The restaurant had great vegetarian fare. Our favorite thing was the ocean view. Plus there is a place called Murrells Inlet with the best seafood my husband has ever had. Great visit.

“Great to get away for the week.”
