As convention chairs, we found the staff were "bending over backwards" to help plan and execute the weekend. When things went wrong, they were there to get things fixed, often before we realized we needed their help. The food pleased even the most hard to please palates. Coordinating with other facilities in the area was a snap; the staff knew... more

I have stayed here many times on on vacation. It is a favorite stay for family and friends. It is NOT downtown, has a large parking lot, people are friendly, and my favorite feature is the creek that runs behind the hotel and near the lounge/gambling areas. I've sat near the creek on the many times with a cocktail and... more

The overall accomodations were ok but the room was far from being really cleaned well. Found used cough drop near the base of the bed and the phone had black grime on the receiver. Drinks were far and few in between and the staff was not real friendly. Had a ducky derby race for the 4th of July and bought... more

Since we traveled with our 2 dogs, we stayed in a pet friendly room. To our surprise the room was quite nice and the staff very friendly. The only downfall was we had a non-smoking room in the smoking section since we arrived so late. The brook behind the hotel was quite relaxing. We paid $5 for a fridge. The... more

The resort's pet rooms have two double beds only, no kings. Room were simple, but clean. No frig or microwave. Room was just a few steps away from the main attraction - the casino. Excellent hot breakfast with complimentary selected items only. Excellent areas to exercise dog. Would definitely stay again. more

I made reservations for my parents, my 4 siblings and spouses, and my husband and myself to celebrate our parent's 61st wedding anniversary. Alice was ever so helpful in placing the reservations and Gwen gave us a discount. The rooms were very nice, clean, and some of us really enjoyed the babbling brook out our window. It was so handy... more

Good for families. Everywhere you go in Deadwood is gambling (and the this property also has a small casino) but it is secondary to family atmosphere. Great continental breakfast. more

We took a bus tour trip that we booked through the hotel. It was reasonably priced that included transportation and hotel. The hotel was much nicer than I expected. The hotel rooms were really clean & the beds were comfortable. Outside our window we saw & heard a little creek running. It was pretty. The casino was decent sized. However,... more
