This is such an elegant hotel and the antiques are stunning. It is well worth the money. It is also quiet and free of loud noises and sound. Go for it!

My husband and I had our wedding vows renewed in one of the hotels reception rooms. The event coordinator for the hotel was superb! The furniture, silverware, and every other detail was perfect. I could not ask for a better experience! The room that we booked was beyond our expectations! The room was completely to the era being represented. It...

From the moment we set foot in this fabulous hotel, the Nostalgia of the property permeented throughout the atmosphere. We stayed in Suite 7-8 and it was perfect. The room decor is bexceptionally well done, the bed left a feeling of sleeping in the clouds, while the motif leaves the feeling that Wild Bill Hicock will enter the building at...

We stayed here in June 2011. We choose this hotel because we recieved a very good price for the location. It was significantly less than other hotels we looked at in the area. The service was good, the rooms were clean, if you appreciate historical places and don't need the modern amenities provided by bigger chain hotels then this hotel...

We spent 3 nights in this charming hotel. We were fortunate enough to have one of the suites, which was spacious, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Being that the hotel is historical, there are certain "inconveniences," ie, smaller bathroom....but that was really minor compared to the opportunity to stay in such a beautifully cared-for building. The owner and staff are gracious...

This hotel (really a collection of about ten guest rooms on the second floor of a historic building) is one of the most unusual places I have ever stayed. But then the entire Black Hills region is unusual - an island of pine forests rising from the prairie - and Deadwood is unusual within the Black Hills - a lively...

We chose to stay at the Martin & Mason hotel because of the Tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted on arrival and give a free car parking pass for the duration of our stay. We were escourted from the hotel reception inside the casino up to our room then given a personal tour of the...

Imagine being able to turn back the clock and enjoy the past.....this was our experience at the Martin Mason. We were fortunate to meet the owner, "Mel" and she took us on a tour of the hotel. It felt like coming home. The rooms were charming with a warmness that you do not find in the cookie cutter hotels. Imagine...

My Mom, aunt and I just returned home after visiting Deadwood for the first time this past weekend. Deadwood itself is very picturesque- located in a canyon and framed by rocky outcroppings and rugged cliffs. When you arrive there, you REALLY can imagine what this town would have been like in the late 1800's/early 1900's. After reviewing all the hotel...

Spent a few nights at this historic on our travels through SD. The staff was accommodating and really responsive. We stayed with kids and thought maybe they would be uptight---THEY WERE NOT-THEY WERE GREAT! Clean spacious rooms and wonderful scones right outside the door every morning.
Would definately stay here again
