This is my go to place in South Dakota. Nice rooms a great staff. I have always been treated well on my visits here. I hope the management considers putting a hot tub in the pool area since they removed the indoor spa. It is great to have a 24 hour restaurant next door.

I would bet the prices are higher in the summer months but for the price I paid, I felt like I got a bargain. Always a good place to stay in Spearfish. Right in town, but has a lodge/canyon feel on the inside. Rooms are clean and you can "bounce a quarter" on the bed covers. Staff is warm and friendly. Located off a major road leading into the town of Spearfish, this motel is clean, comfortable, AND (thankfully) quiet! It can be walking distance to the Mathew Opera House on Main Street or the Wine Bar or Irish Pub (live music nightly). When we arrived we found very friendly front desk staff and then a clean, comfortable and very spacious room. It was quiet as well. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good and had enough items to choose from.

The customer servie people were nice, but not personable. It is a bit older but very nice. Beds were very comfy. Breakfast in the morning was great and lady that ran the breakfast area WAS very personable we talked for a while.
