This hotel needed refurbishment 10 years ago. If I had had an option, I would not have stayed. Every floorboards creaks, nothing has been painted since don't know when, wallpapers date back to decade I won't speculate on... No maintenance does not equal charm! I have stayed in nicer b&b's for cheaper. Nice grounds though.

did not stay at this hotel but called in when in area. on first glance it was very grand in a simple way. spotless and staff very gently spoken and polite. in beautiful grounds with lovely walks in forest and golf course beside hotel.
