We live in Galway City and went to Cashel House Hotel for 1 night, which is just 1 hour away. We arrived at this very beautiful house to be greeted by a smiling charming lady, and welcomed us with such warm smile that we felt really special. When I say that it is a place that if "heaven " is... More

We booked Cashel House hotel last minute with an online Deals site. To say I was happily suprised on arrival would be an understatement. Cashel House Hotel is a beautiful old house gracefully converted into a real hideaway place to stay. The rooms are large and comfortable with the biggest bed I have ever slept in. We went down to... Stayed here midweek. Exemplary welcome. Wonderful atmosphere. Lots of cozy fires. It was a stunning evening & the gardens are absolutely amazing. Set in a tranquil location, this country house is unique, steeped in history and all furnishings & artefacts have a story to tell. Dinner in the beautiful conservatory was excellent. An abundance of fresh fish. Impressive breakfast buffet... More

We stayed for a week-end break (2 B&B + 1D) and had a very relaxing time from arrival to departure. The location and surroundings are ideal for an "away from it all" break. The owners and staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful and run a very comfortable, cosy and homely establishment. Our room overlooked the rear garden with a view... More

We used a Smartbox gift to spend a night here, including dinner. We were given a wonderful and warm welcome, with a large room overlooking the garden, with its own sitting room. There were cheerful peat and log fires burning in the reception rooms and lots of comfy sofas to sink into. The gardens are fantastic, we can't wait to... More

We stayed in this wonderful hotel on Saturday April 2nd. We chose the hotel because it was dog friendly. We had both our dogs with us, a labradoodle and a Bernese mountain dog. Dogs stay free and are allowed to stay in bedroom. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by all members of staff. The weather was glorious... More

I stayed here last summer with my fiance for one night, it was a real treat. We booked using a groupon voucher and we were given a lovely room. It is perhaps a smaller room than others they have but we loved it. My one complaint was that the room was a bit dusty, but everything else was spotless. We... More

After a few days in Scotland, we visited Ireland on our honeymoon, and Cashel House (at the recommendation of our travel agent) was our first stop. We can't say enough about our experience there. We were pretty stressed out when we arrived - about halfway through our long drive from Dublin to Cashel, we realized we'd lost our camera (with... More

I recently stayed in Cashel with my husband and having visited Connamara on several occassion I feel sad that we only found this hidden treasure now, "but better late than never". From the moment we entered Cashel House it was truely a wonderful experience that I look forward to repeating in the near future. We were greeted by Ray and... More

Ideally Situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the world in Connemara by Cashel Bay, the fabulous Roundstone village and beside the magnificent Twelve Pins mountains, world class beaches in warm weather!) and the wild Atlantic Ocean right on your doorstep with its rugged coves and ragged cliffs. If you want a modern/contemporary or a soulless hotel then... More
