I recently spent a week at the L' Emeraude. The hotel is comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The breakfasts are very good and I had mixed experiences with the evening meals (some great, some poor)
Yoou certainly need a car to stay here - it is too far to walk to St Helier and the hotel courtsey bus...

A very acceptable hotel. Large rooms kept spotlessly clean and all staff very friendly. Meals were generally good to excellent. Pool was heated for part of our stay and then mysteriously seemed to be switched off, but the pool is a definite plus.

It was OK, the buffet breakfast was quite good, but I was disapointed that the pool wasn't open it was the end of June, so why do the advertise it as having a heated pool when it wasn't then! The pictures I saw seemed to suggest a huge pool but it wasnt.
