I'm walking the whole South West Coast Path (630 miles) and have stayed in over 40 B&Bs so far. Trefoil is one of the very best I've found. You couldn't wish for a more friendly welcome from Pal and Malcolm. The cleanliness was faultless, and the décor very tasteful. My room at the rear was very good, comfortable, and had... More

We arrived at Trefoil after a long 7 hour journey. Pam and Malcom were most welcoming, inviting us into the guest lounge for tea and biscuits. Tea was poured from a bone china pot into lovely bone china cups, just how tea should be served. From then on things got better. The whole house is very tastefully decorated and spotlessly... More

Just returned from a 2 night stay at Trefoil Hotel. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we rang the doorbell. Immediately we arrived we were offered tea and biscuits in the lounge which we appreciated after a long drive to Brixham. Bedroom was nicely decorated and lovely and warm as it was freezing outside. Nothing was... More

"Trefoil is a glowing star in the guesthouse firmament." My family had to go to Brixham to attend a very dear old friend's funeral and hit upon the Trefoil from an internet search, what a lucky find that was! Pam and Malcolm could not have been more welcoming, greeting us with coffee in their tastefully decorated lounge as we checked... More

Stayed here over New Year. The were so warm and welcoming, no rush, had a great chat and they offered us tea when we arrived? The entire B&B was spotlessly clean with modern, fresh looking rooms. We had a great night sleep and the breakfast was wonderful with a wide range of food options. Would stay here again no doubt... More

Trying to find good accommodation for the Christmas period had seemed a nightmare, but the Trefoil provided the perfect place to stay over the festive period. Pam and Malcolm welcomed us with such warmth and sincerity that we felt immediately at home, going through the check-in procedure in the beautifully furnished lounge. The quality of the bedroom was far beyond... More

A warm welcome, great room, big hearty breakfasts, and will cook whatever you want, no bother. A lovely couple who couldn't do enough to make sure you have a great stay, would stay here again if ever visiting the area.

We spent two nights at the Trefoil in early September and would simply say that this is the best Guest house we have stayed in, anywhere. Having arrived quite late into the evening we received a very warm welcome and were made to feel at home immediately. Pam and Malcolm clearly know what guests look for in such accommodation and... This is my third stay here in the last 12 months. I live in Australia and stay at Trefoil when I visit my Mum in Brixham. Pam and Malc always offer great accommodation, good food and, more importantly to me, a warm welcome. This is becoming a home from home for me.
