We stayed here for one night recently and were left a bit 'piggy in the middle'. The location is excellent for exploring the moor and surrounding areas with the Buckfastleigh Railway close by. Although remote, the inn is well positioned for access onto eastern Dartmoor. Food is excellent. Evening meals arrived quickly and the portions were generous. Hearty cooked breakfast and all with superb view over the countryside. We stayed 5 nights and will return again.
