Wonderful breakfast with a range of fruit, cereals and jams for your toast. The main breakfast itself was presented well and very nice. The rooms were cosy and homely with excellent tea range, coffee and biscuits. Lotions and washing soaps were an added bonus in the bathroom. Overall the staff were very friendly and made sure you were comfortable and... More

We took a long weekend in Bridport to explore the area shown in the TV series, Broadchurch. We chose a large double on the top floor of this highly rated pub in the town centre as a pleasant base for our touring. Although cautious about the idea of Bed and Breakfast over a pub, it all worked out well -... More

Firstly, I'm really wary of all the extremely positive reviews of this pub that give it an entirely unblemished 'excellent' rating. It's a straightforward boozer, with some re-furbished rooms upstairs that were done up to try and cash in on nearby olympics events. That said, the rooms are pleasant enough and are very comfortable. Though they don't serve meals, which... More

My Dad and I had booked to stay for one night at the pub a couple of weeks ago. We were made very welcome by the bar staff and spent the evening sharing drinks and chat with them and the locals. The accommodation is superb. The bathroom have obviously been recently re-fitted and were as good as at some 4*... More

Stayed for one night for a concert at the Electric Palace just down the road in the centre of town. Excellent pub, with stacks of atmosphere and friendly, efficient staff. 'Proper' landlord and landlady who clearly know their business extremely well. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed our short stay here.

Stayed here for one nights whilst visiting a friend in Bridport. The room was excellent, roomy and clean. Breakfast was great with sone unusual choices. We had the brioche toast with bacon and poached egg on it, delicious. The pub had loads of atmosphere and was a great place for a few drinks.

Stayed for a cousins 40th birthday in Bridport, ideally located for town centre. Had one of the attic rooms which where massive and the bed was one of the most comfortable ever stayed in. Modern stylish decor to the room. Pub is a traditional local pub, full of buzz of a popular place but not roudy, certainly didnt notice any... More
