Very friendly welcome, bar is open ocasionally. Excellent breakfast, especially Ann´s homemade marmalade is outstanding. Blackwaterfoot Lodge is welcoming and comfortable. After an excellent nights sleep, breakfast can be enjoyed in a shady coservatory.

While this may be the best hotel in Blackwaterfoot, that isn't saying very much. It did provide a nice close location for Shiskine Golf, and the room, though tiny, was nicely furnished with a comfortable bed. Carpeting needed a good cleaning. Breakfast was fine. Hotel was highly rated but disssapointing. The room was spacious but the bathroom was tiny and in need of reapair. The toilet papaer holder was falling off the wall. the toilet tank cover was broken and rusted. There was no shampoo. The sink was in the bedroom but had no place to hang a towel. We left after one night.
