Stayed for one night to break journey, hotel looked like it had been recently refurbished,very clean, very friendly staff worth thinking about to break a long journey just off the motorway so very handy. Good value for the price, have stayed a few times over the years and would stay again. More

Check in is usually a breeze at the express holiday inn, however we arrived at 250pm only ten mins before the 3pm check inn however we were still waiting till 330 to get checked in which was a bit of a pain... Stayed at this hotel twice in a week as an overnight stop on the way to and back from the north of Scotland. Hotel and facilities as you should expect from a HIEX and the staff encountered were genuine and friendly. Location is good for motorway access and a range of eating options are very close at hand.
