Highfield House is absolutely first class in every way. I felt more like I was staying in an exclusive boutique hotel than a B&B. Isla and Hugh are gracious and interesting hosts. The breakfast was superb!

Highfield House is very nice and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Everything is well maintained. The breakfast was great and had a good choice. We stayed here last summer, and loved it. The room was beautifully furnished with a wonderfully comfortable bed and very well appointed bathroom. The breakfast was vast and the staff were charming. As B&Bs go it does not get much better.

We stayed here several nights. Perfectly located on the edge of town, Highfield House is deserving of 5 stars. The beds were so comfortable, the linens crisp, the room spotless, the breakfast fare diverse and fresh, and the evenings very quiet. Thanks Isla! We'll return one day.
