Had a lovely stay here for a few autumn days. Lovely rooms, great service, fantastic food and the activities were brilliant, especially the gorge scrambling. The instructors/guides were really nice and helpful as well. All in all a superb break in a gorgeous spot of the Highlands More

Oh My Gooooddd Charles!!!! This could be the introducing sentence for this hotel! Have you "blu blood"? Is your father a duke? Noooo???? and why are you here? Maybe even the Queen could be embarrassed in this "noblesse". But the Kitchen no! It is not in the same level of the "importance" they pretend. Every meal is too much elaborated... More

We were at the Torridon for our friends wedding, what an amazing place! In a beautiful location, great rooms, amazing food, and staff where nothing is too much trouble, and that's before you even start looking at the Whisky bar! I cannot recommend this place enough and will be returning when we are next up in the Highlands! More

I sailed to the Torridon from Italy in a large mega yacht as Captain. The Owner wished to have a drink in the bar to reminisce about a previous stay he had had many years ago and to share it with his family. He called to ask permission to come in to sit at the bar using the private pier... More

Thank you for your review. Was it just your client coming for a drink or the whole super yacht? In order to retain exclusivity and ensure that we look after our hotel residents offering them the best service possible, we do have a rule that does not permit non-residents into the hotel after 6pm unless you have a reservation for... We have just returned from a fantastic weekend at The Torridon, celebrating the wedding of our friends. The weekend was perfect from the moment we arrived till we reluctantly left. Our room was luxurious comfortable, with gorgeous mountain views. The food was out of this world and we enjoyed sampling a few whiskys from the extensive selection. We particularly enjoyed... More

We had a short stay at the Torridon recently with our dog and we were a bit surprised at the 'leave your dog at home' review. The Torridon is all that others have said in regard to its superb location; a first class hotel where attention to detail is everything; attentive and friendly staff; and of course, top class dining.... Jane and I visited the Torridon Hotel early in 2011 when we were looking for a wedding venue. We stayed for one night and had dinner, and that was enough to convince us that this was the place we wanted to get married. The settling, the staff, the venue, the luxury rooms and the food all helped convince us that... More

I chose this hotel because I wanted to propose to my girlfriend in Wester Ross. The countryside is breathtaking but the hotel and staff at the Torridon made the whole experience unforgetable. From the moment we pulled up in the grounds of the hotel and stepped into the amazing entrance hall, we were made to feel right at home. I... More

If you are not planning on taking a dog to The Torridon then ignore this review as you will have a great time at a friendly hotel in a fantastic location with great food. I am sure you will give it 5*. Our problem is that although The Torridon says it is "dog friendly" the sole "dog room" (which is... More

Firstly I would like to apologise that you did not fully enjoy your stay and that you found our policy on dogs to negatively affect your time at The Torridon as well as apologising for the flood in your bathroom. I am also sorry that you were not offered an upgrade to another room with the option to leave your... More

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon in the Highlands and it was perfect. The room was fantastic with beautiful views. The service was remarkable - friendly and welcoming, it set the tone for the whole stay. The complimentary outdoor activities were a real bonus and we were able to do some loch kayaking, archery and a guided walk.... More
