I am sure we will not be the only ones who will miss Mike and Jane at Achnadrish. We have made 12 trips to Achnadrish of 2 weeks or more each time over the past 7 years and it has been like coming home each time. I don't know where I will get my hit of Thai breakfast from now... More

Mike Story is a world class host .The B&B is cozy and very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and Mike will prepare you a wonderful dinner upon request. A roaring fire in the lounge make this a place you don't want to leave. the weather wasn't great when we visited in October but that didn't detract from a great visit... More

We spent 5 nights here at the end of September and were very impressed. The house is beautifully furnished and we had a very comfortable room and bathroom. Mike is an excellent host, with lots of local knowledge. We thoroughly enjoyed the high quality breakfasts, and when we dined in it was a memorable occasion for the food and the... More

Actually not true - we have been very fond of everything about Achnadrish since we first visited; it's just that we have not been able to visit for over a year and we missed it - a lot!! We were back again and it really was as if the previous visit was last week. Things have changed a little -... More

Lovely welcome and very pleasant stay. The location was perfect and the place just what we needed at the end ofeach days walking. Always a great fire burning in the evening to sit by whilst we digested our evening meal. Mike's local knowledge helped to make this holiday one we will remeber for many years to come. Thank you. Stayed here with my husband and son, and loved the whole experience. Mike is the perfect host - genial & welcoming, a fount of local knowledge, and a great ambassador for Mull! The B&B is beautifully furnished - our bed was wonderfully comfortable. They happily popped a fold-out bed for our nine-year old son into the bedroom. We enjoyed delicious cooked... More

I stayed with my family - parents and brother and took our dog - 27-29 Aug 2011 and we have a fabulous time! The house is set in the middle of no-where with no noise and no neighbours except wildlife! It is only a few miles from the village of Dervaig. The house itself is old, very clean, with beautiful... Our ground floor room was really spacious with the added bonus that it came with a separate entrance/hallway (perfect for kicking off wellingtons and drying my Hungarian Viszla) . For dog owners this ground floor room is ideal and the claim that Achnadrish House is dog friendly is a claim 100% met . A warm welcome and very knowledgeable owners... More
