Arrived mid pm, rainy & cold....not a prob...warm welcome & a fire on in a beautiful sitting room, lots of sofas, chairs and a cracking view of the loch. We tried to book cheaper accom but due to the lateness of our booking we were left with a choice of places with rooms that received bad reviews or some of the top end establishments like this one. “Peaceful and charming retreat”

Stayed here for only one night unfortunately. We had booked a 'cosy double' but ended up in the comfortable Garden Suite which suited us very nicely. We also booked a session in the hot tub which we thoroughly enjoyed after getting over the initial apprehension at finding it right beneath the bar/restaurant decking! “Good but disappointing”

Rooms comfortable but cramped . Food / dinner . Another trying to be Michelin - portions too small , too fussy and not that well cooked . Simpler could be better . We took the option with dinner for 3 nights but chose to eat elsewhere on the 3rd night. Service good .
