I have to differ with one of the comments on here. We live locally and pop into the tea room at least once a month even during the Winter months when the tourists are missing. The staff are always helpful and willing to please customers. We were very pleased recently when they went out of their way to accomodate a... More

Stayed here as part of an unexpected stop over in uig due to the ferry being cancelled. I am very happy with this B+B Approach-Looks very nice very well attended garden with picnic benches out side. Entrance- again spot on, as soon as you enter you get a homely feel which is ideal the people who own this B+B really... More

We stayed in the Orasay Bed and Breakfast which was very comfortable in the twin bedded room. We were not aware of any particular smell of dampness, the room is ample for 2 people and close to the ferry terminal for anyone wishing to visit the outer isles. No noise with the cars coming and going and we would certainly... More

To be fair to the proprieters here, they put us up for one night at the very last minute. Thats not really an excuse for squeezing two single beds in to a tiny room. Fitting an en-suite into a wardrobe and selling it as a twin room. As soon as we walked in to room 2, the damp, musty smell... More

We the lease holders since April 2012 have no input to the design or layout of the property, but are fully reponsible for the cleanliness of the property, and can assure all customers that there was no damp/musty smell prior to this gentlemans occupation. On arrival all customers are shown to the room/s availabe, and would suggest this is the... More

While travelling to the Outer Isles for work i began at first to think that Uig offered no where to eat hot food after 3.30pm! I then stumbled upon this little gem after being advised by staff in another near establishment that they served food until 5.30pm (when the teatime ferry is due to come in, very sensible hours!) The... More

After a 12 hour drive and being up since 4am - we struggled to find a tea room still serving food at 3pm. We had visited Orasay tea rooms during our last holiday staying on Skye 2 years ago and had enjoyed the food here. All my husband wanted was a bacon buttie! We stopped in Fort William at 11... More

I hope anyone viewing this report treats it with the contempt it deserves. Our menus and serving times are compiled to suit the majority of customer requirements. This lady had travelled for 7hrs, arriving in Fortwilliam at 11am, accepts that they have missed breakfast times, and the eatery has moved to their lunch menu, then travels a further 4/5hrs arriving... We did not stay at the B&B - we just used the tea-room, which we found to be a little gem! Good selection of refreshments; efficient service and large portions at very competitive prices. Open 7 days a week. Right by the ferry port. Recommended

Good overnight stop for your onward journey to the outer islands, staff were very helpful when I arrived, though they were busy with their cafe, room neat and tidy, separate bathroom for my exclusive use, which was fine, they cleaned it out before the I checked in for the evening. Yes a clean and tidy B&B, good breakfast, helpful staff,... More

Had lunch in the Tearoom of this B&B. Staff were very helpful and agreed to make my Teenagers bacon rolls even after the time limit for them to cook these. Reasonably priced for rolls, cake and a drink. Outside eating area available for the sunny weather.
