Airdeny Chalets are on the Glen Lonan road about 8 tenths of a mile outside the village of Taynuilt, the walk into the village takes around 15 to 20 minutes and is very pleasant. Oban is 12 miles, where there are 3 major supermarkets, a host of other shops and places to eat. The ferry also leaves from here for... More

We had a fantastic two week stay at Airdeny Chalets. Two adults and three children, loads of things to do. We drove a total of 800 miles during our stay. Breath taking views. Beautiful home made fruit cake on arrival, just what was needed. Very nice welcome from Jennifer and Liath (Jen's dog) the children loved playing with her in... More

Airdeny is quite simply the best. My family visited for a week (5 adults & 4 dogs) and we really enjoyed ourselves. The location is perfect and thanks to some very clever gadgets there are practically no midgies (almost unheard of on the west coast of Scotland). When we arrived there was a lovely fruit loaf (homemade) waiting for us... More

6 of us on a weekend away. 3 bedrooms a lounge, dining area, kitchen and 2 bathrooms, what more could we need.....nothing actually. If you are looking for somewhere with fantastic scenery, close enough to town but not so close as to cause any issues and where you are left alone to just do your thing, then this is the... More

I am just back from a few wonderful days at Airdeny Chalets. The chalets themselves are in a stunning location with vievs of Ben Cruachan. Situated about two miles from the village of Taynuilt up a country road. The host, Jennifer, was very welcoming and helpful providing all the information we needed on local attractions, places to eat etc. Our... More

One of the best maintained self catering chalets in the west highlands. The chalets are very well equipped and provides for most mod cons. They are very clean and kept to the best standards. There is a separate laundry room, and the main reception is well stocked with reading materials and has a good collection of DVD's. There is plenty... More
