Our room was at the top of the house with a view of the bay and was a bit smaller than expected but nonetheless comfortable and very clean. Actually, when we... More

We travelled for a short break to The Isle of Bute over the May Bank Holiday and stayed at the Ardyne. It was fabulous. Our hosts Kate and David made us more than welcome. Rooms at The Ardyne are well proportioned, modern and exceptionally clean with big comfy beds and included everything you would expect to find in a high... More

Four of us stayed at the Ardyne at the end of April, in the two rooms with the sea views and the bay windows. Very warm, comfy huge beds, spotlessly clean and what a view! Excellent breakfasts, both for the veggies and the carnivores, and very attentive hosts. Great big window to sit in and just gaze at the sea,... More

My partner and I decided on a trip to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute for the Easter Weekend and ended up in the Ardyne due to the larger hotel on the front being fully booked. We were so glad it was otherwise we would not have booked into the Ardyne. The Ardyne is run by the very welcoming Dave... More
