There are no hidden suprises with Inkeepers lodge, and this was no exception. The room was clean, the staff friendly and efficient and the breakfast good. The view from the restaurant area was brilliant. The hotel is in an ideal posistion, only a 44 min train ride into Glagow Queen Street Station, and also close to Loch Lomond. more

We stayed there for 3 nights in may '09. Wonderful view over the sea. Nice breakfast. Good food in the evening. Not an ideal location when going without a car. Min points: the walls are pretty thin and one night we couldn't sleep till our drunk neighbours from the next room have finished their chat. more

Spent four nights here in may.The room was large and spacious with a bed settee, which we used solely to sit on.The complimentory breakfast was very substantial and pub restuarant had a lovely atmosphere as well as well prepared meals.We took a fifteen minute car ride to the village of Luss which is well worth the trip.Overall a very enjoyable... more

This is the first hotel I have come across where check-in is at the bar! We stayed 4 nights and were given a nice room overlooking the sea. It was clean and comfortable. Free copies of a quality newspaper were provided (The Independent). Car parking more than adequate. Breakfast (included) was limited and monotonous - the coffee was downright unpleasant.... more
