Good view from room. Hotel staff were very friendly and food good value for money. We stayed New Years Eve and the entertainment was great. Rhu is very pretty but very quiet- no other restaurants. Loch Lomond only 15 min drive away though. More

We visited the hotel for a meal in the Glen Fruin Bar. Pleasantly surprised by the good standard of food - decent size portions of tasty food. The staff were extremely welcoming & friendly - would definitely recommend. More

A great wee hotel hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Every member of staff we met, from the receptionist to bar staff/waiting staff and managers were extremely polite and helpful. It really does make a huge difference being afforded such courtesy as opposed to some horror stories encountered elsewhere. But not here, honestly, it sometimes... More

Stayed overnight on the 4th very warm welcome from Hazel at reception. A great room with a lovely view of the marina and sea, spacious and very very clean. Booked dinner in the restaurant as on my previous visits I found the food to be fantastic. On discovering they had a new chef since my last visit I was hoping... More

I have to say this is not what I expected after reading the reviews. Arrived at hotel reception area very unwelcoming and needs updating. Reception staff had to check our room was ready despite arriving at 14.30pm which I found strange as this should of been checked before arrival. I had paid extra for a seavew room which you could... We stayed at the hotel Friday 28th and Saturday 29th October 2011. On first arriving we were given a very warm welcome by Beverley on reception. Alana introduced herself and said she would be serving us at dinner that evening, and she was extremely helpful, offering to show us around the hotel and give us some local history about the... More

We stayed on a one night special DB&B special here .After actually finding the hotel -we went up the wrong drive and landed at the Yacht Club!,we thought the front of the building looked quite nice with the gardens and conservatory.Unfortunately you go round the back of the hotel and the main door is lurking there among the piles of... We held our wedding at the Rosslea Hall Hotel on 17th Sept 2011 and would highly recommend it. We cannot praise the staff highly enough, they were friendly, polite and could not do enough for us. From start to finish the service was excellent, Don and Jennifer led the way in the preceeding months, helping us with the preparations making... More

As a hotel restaurant they did very well. Popped in unplanned for lunch, there was nobody else there so we were all alone and we were treated as star guests. Food was fairly ordinary but did the job. More

This is a great hotel in a great location, very quiet surroundings, and brilliant scenery. The hotel had just been refurbished prior to our stay, and it was very clean and well decorated but still retained some of the old buildings character. The hotel is secluded in its own grounds and very quiet. Stayed for two nights, our room was... More
