Got here on day 3 of our walk, was well impressed with our hobbit hut, the showers were excellent in the block and the on pub site was great , well it gave us our first hangover off the walk :) It's only a short walk away from the drovers inn so that was handy to go there and have... More

Our third night on the WHW having walked the 15 miles from Inverarnan. We had booked B&B and our room was hotel standard, very well equipped, clean and reasonably spacious. We arrived in some trepidation expecting it to be noisy but it wasn’t, there was a quiz on at 10:00 in the bar next to our room but by then... More

Camping May 2013 Backpacking the WHW we camped here. Facilities include Backpackers Kitchen/dry area with old electric hob, electric kettle, pans, sinks, a little free food in the fridge, laundry, drying area, under-cover seating/tables. Slightly sloping camping area with well kept grass, only about 50mm of topsoil so slanted pegging of tent is essential. Bar selling beers and spirits, TV. Not... More

It was so good to arrive at this place after a difficult 14 miles! They have all kinds of people there as well as a variety of lodging. We stayed in one of the B & B rooms, it was very comfortable. The pub at the campsite served food until 9 and the store is open until 10 pm.

Stayed one night, after the longest and hardest part of the WHW. We stayed in a superior double cabin, which was wonderful. had everything we needed, shower was great, bathroom had all you could need, shampoo, soap, etc. hairdryer also. The bedroom was large and the bed wonderfully comfortable. The small pub on site had a great atmosphere, full of... More

I stayed here at Beinglas Campsite for the evening whilst walking the West Highland Way. I stayed in a wooden cabin and it was a lovely way to spend the night and made for a nice change from a B&B. You can hire bedding for the night & towels to save you carrying these items should you not want to.... More

I shared a cabin here last week with my two brothers. The accommodation seemed new and was in excellent shape. The beds were comfy and everything worked. It would have been great to have a bath to rest the weary limbs in, but these seem to be a bit of rarity on the WHW. We had curry (one chicken bhuna... More
