I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the Tyndrum area. We arrived on a cold and snowy February afternoon, but Andy and Ellen greeted us warmly with hot tea and homemade flapjacks! The room was beautiful with a really comfortable bed, views of the mountains to the south and a good selection of toiletries. They were really... more

We had such a nice time at this B&B. We were greeted by Ellen, her friendly cat Alice, and a cup of tea. We opted to have dinner there as well, which was delicious - three choices of entree, main and dessert, all beautifully cooked. Breakfast the next morning was also very nice, and we were packed on our way... more

Arrived after a very cold days walking in superb conditions, to a very warm and friendly welcome. After being shown our room, we were invited downstairs for tea and biscuits and the hospitalily just kept on going for there. The food is fantastic, being sourced locally and cooked to perfection by Ellen. Andy and Ellen are such warm people that... more

We chose the Glengarry House based on TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. In fact, our stay definitely exceeded our expectations. After a longish day from Ardlui and the prospect of 20 miles to the Kings House to follow, we were ready for a bit of pampering and Andy and Ellen's hospitality was just what we needed. From the... more

It always started bad: coming from the west highland way (whw), we saw the sign and than the track to the B&B, but we found not possibilities to ford the river... However it was the only negative point. The friendly welcome of this charming couple, Ellen & Andy, the comfort of the room and the quality of the dinner made... more
