We had 2 wonderful days in Tillicoultry, Scotland with our gracious hostess, Evie. The house, with its spiral staircase and large airy rooms was an enchanting step back in time. The breakfast was large and delicious. The beds, comfortable warm and inviting. But, it's Evie, the hostess that makes the Westbourne memorable and significant. Evie pays attention to detail and... We only stayed one night at Westbourne Guesthouse (April 2013) but I wished our schedule would have let us stay longer. We were very comfortable. We got a warm, friendly welcome from Evie. She even came out to the car to meet us. The room was large and spacious, comfortable bed. It was quiet and restful. I loved the large... More

My journey had taken nearly two hours longer than expected. Sat nav said you have reached your destination but I couldn't see Westbourne House, I turned round and saw B&B sign. I received a very warm greeting from Evie and welcomed into the house. Wow, beautiful hall and staircase. My room was large with a double and two single beds.... More

Booked two rooms as visiting family. Eve came out to greet us, then showed us to our very spacious rooms. Fully equipped with all we needed for our stay. Breakfast was huge and set us up for the day. Set in a secluded location at the foot of the hills, parking on-site. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

After struggling through very busy mid-day traffic in downtown Stirling we decided to keep driving out of town to find a more quiet location to stay the night. We stopped at a small hotel which had no rooms available, but a friendly and helpful staff member (who made a call to check on availability) gave us directions to the charming... More

We felt very comfortable there. Very nice host familiy, a great decoration in the house, it is all very clean and tidy. We felt like little princesses in the the big victorian house wtih high rooms, wonderful ornamentations on the arches and a staircase like in a old fairy tale movie. The dinner was good and rich. We also enjoyed... More

Evie is the ultimate host, and her breaklasts are legend. The home is large , homey , and quiet. The location, next to lovely Stirling, and half way between Edinburgh and Glasgow, made most of Scotlands sights an easy day trip. Their recommendations for restaurants, theatre, and even laundry made our trip a pleasure.
