This was our second visit to Harbour lights for a family visit to Stranraer and Portpatrick. This Guesthouse is a home from home. The hosts Colin and Rhona are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are so cosy and better than any 4star hotel. The welcome trays are a real treat. Bathrooms are spotless and breakfast is first class. We... More

We have stayed at this place a number of times and we always get treated the same way each time! Colin and Rhona are great hosts and have great business going, they work as a great team. From the big selection of breakfast to the cleanliness of the place it keeps us coming back. The Wright family

I stayed at Harbour Lights for 1 night in April. The place is spotless, very nicely decorated too. It's reasonably priced, £60 for twin room. The breakfast was fantastic, kept me full for hours afterwards. I would recommend Harbour Lights as a pre-ferry crossing stop off, or indeed if you are visiting Stranraer.

We were stranded with the heavy snowfall & chanced upon this lovely B&B! Owners Rhona & Colin Brown are beautiful hosts, they made our 1 night stay very memorable. Room was spick & span, even the quilt covers, bedsheets & towels smell lovely! A definite KUDOS stay!

Easiest review I have ever had to write, great great b and b. Spotless, well presented and everything as it should be. Add two very pleasant hosts and fantastic breakfasts and you have a winner and then......such a bargain. Brilliant for the money but just brilliant really, do go and enjoy.

Stayed just before Christmas with my daughter and grand-daughter. The room was large, very clean and had all and more that we could want, even a small selection box for Ellie. Breakfast was really lovely with lots of choice, very well cooked and plentyful. Would not hesitate to reccommend this Guest House to all and will definately be back when... More

Harbour Lights GH in Stranraer is located on the main harbour road and is only about a ten minute walk (by Americans) from the centre of town. Rooms are comfortable and ours had a view of the harbor. Even with its main road location the night noise was never a problem during our two night stay. Rhona and Colin are... More

Stayed at Harbour Lights for 3 nights with my husband and can't praise this b and b enough! Hosts were very pleasant and helpful making our stay a very comfortable and relaxing experience. Double room and en-suite (with large shower) were spotlessly clean - definItely a contender for cleanest b and b in the UK.. Breakfast was delicious - plenty... More
